Choose Your Reading Level
Choose your reading level
You can start with the level that feels right for today and switch at any time. Both
levels use the same stories about real workers.
How the two levels are different
Level A gives more support with shorter sentences and built-in vocabulary help. Level B gives more detail and new words to stretch your English.
Choosing Level A is not “less smart.” It is about choosing the right support so you can understand the story and feel confident.
Level A – Supported reading
- Shorter paragraphs and simpler sentences.
- Keywords are explained in the vocabulary support.
- Best if you want to focus on understanding the main story.
In the course list, look for the unit called: “Lesson B – Reading A: Real Worker Stories (Level A).”
Level B – Extended reading
- More detail and richer explanations.
- Extra vocabulary such as perception, stereotype, misjudge, and assertive.
- Practice guessing meaning from context, then checking in a dictionary.
In the course list, look for the unit called: “Lesson B – Reading B: Real Worker Stories (Level B).”
You can change levels at any time. If Level B feels too heavy today, switch to Level A. If Level A feels easy, try one story in Level B and see how it goes.
