Reflection journal: when someone is misjudged
In this journal, you will think about a time you or someone you know was misjudged at
work or during hiring, and what could make the situation fairer.
Important note: your story, your choice
Only share what feels safe. Do not write real names, company names, or very private details. You can write “someone I know” or describe a typical situation instead of a personal one.
Sentence frames to help you start

- At first, I / they were judged as…
- The barrier or bias was… (accent, age, documents, experience, etc.).
- What helped or could have helped was…
- Now, I think…always come back later to try the other one.
Helpful words you can use
