From your story to a complete résumé
In Milestone 4, you will bring together everything you have done so far in Skillforce Ready
– your employability story, transferable skills, and barrier/STAR stories – and turn it into
a complete, working résumé you can keep improving.
How this milestone works:
You will complete two online lessons before the in-person workshop:
- Lesson A (online, self-paced): about 120 minutes
- Lesson B (online, self-paced): about 120 minutes
- Lesson C- In-Person Workshop
Lesson A: See the Whole Picture – Planning Your Résumé In Lesson A
You will explore what a résumé is, look closely at a model résumé, and start
planning your own in a low-stress way. You will not finish every section yet. Instead, you
will collect key information and write your first Professional Summary using work you have
already done in earlier milestones.
Lesson B: Build Your Complete Résumé – From STAR Stories to Sections
In Lesson B, you move from planning to building. You will turn at least one of your STAR stories into clear, impact-focused bullet points, use those bullets to build an Experience entry, and then complete all main résumé sections. By the end of this lesson, you will have a full résumé draft that you can bring to the in-person workshop for feedback and polishing.
