Milestone 7: Professional Judgment & Workplace Readiness
In this milestone, you will strengthen the real-world professional skills employers look for: making sound decisions, communicating accountability, and maintaining boundaries and conduct that build trust over time.
How does this continue from your last live session:
In the last live session, you practiced presenting yourself professionally through clear communication and employability skills. Milestone 7 extends that work by focusing on what happens next in real workplaces: situations where expectations are unclear, priorities conflict, or professional relationships require boundaries. You will practice choosing responses that protect your credibility and reputation in both digital and in-person settings.
Milestone summary:
You will read rich professional texts, watch a short expert video, complete quick comprehension checks, and analyze realistic workplace dialogues. You will compare strong vs weak professional responses and practice decision-making in scenarios involving feedback, pressure, boundaries, and professional conduct. Optional activities are available for additional practice.
Learning objectives:
- Recognize workplace situations that require professional judgment rather than a simple rule or script.
- Select responses that demonstrate accountability, clarity, and professionalism under pressure.
- Apply professional boundaries with supervisors, colleagues, and clients in both digital and in-person contexts.
- Respond professionally to feedback and tension while protecting credibility and reputation over time.
